Payment Method Field
The "add new card" doesn't allow the entire name of our name or address to be entered since the field doesn't allow enough characters. Please expand this field to allow more characters.

Make Bidder Under Everyone
I want to be able to under "Patrons- Everyone", choose at the bottom under "actions on everyone" to be able to mass create people as bidders.

Create "Online Submission Only" donor fields
Many MANY businesses have now established their own online donation request site. I got about a dozen of my request letters responded to by people telling me that I had to go to their website to apply for a donation.
Currently I'm using first name "Online" and last name "Only" to mark these for myself, and the "Notes" field for the web address, but this is cumbersome. Since it seems more and more prevalent, I don't think this is out of bounds, but rather the direction a lot of companies are going.

Shared Bidder Numbers Need to be Reflected in Reports
Merge Bidders Using the Same Bidder # in Printed Materials - I think allowing couples to have the same bidder number is great, but the reports don't reflect that relationship. There needs to be a way that couples can share a bidder number and have all of reports/communications recognize that as well, especially when it comes time to send thank you letters!

Add ability to turn off automatic emails to bidders & donors
Donors & Bidders may be receiving a lot of emails regarding the auction and we don't want to burden them. It would be great to have an option to choose which communications get sent out automatically (while still having the option to send them manually under the Actions on Bidders/Donors menus). Having the option to disable the automatic emails would give organizations more control over how they communicate with their donors.

Allow customizable progress bars to be used in Showcase.
Have the ability to create different progress bars to be shown at the event (silent auction, Mission Moment/Paddle Raise/Fund-A-Need) instead of only having a full progress bar. If using eBidding, allow it to automatically populate as donations/pledges come in through mobile users.

you could change the received date of donations after you save it.
Right now, if you save a donation with a received date, the only way to change the is to delete the gift and re-add it with the new date. You should be able to edit the gift without needing to delete it.

Preview packages as you add them
It would be great if under Items > Packages, when you create a new package, you could preview what it will look like in the eCatalog right from that screen without needing to actually go into the eCatalog (similar to the Setup > Event Website preview).

E-catalog had a chat feature
Now that many events are going online, we would like to suggest having a chat feature for our bidders to speak to one another or to us. Or have a forum where they could go to speak to one another. This would help us engage them in our auction as well as make it more lively.

Ticket and Sponsorship Description should be more visible
Please make an option for Admission Ticket Category description and Sponsorship Level Information description to be visible on the actual website page under each sponsorship level or ticket category instead of clicking on the info image to see the description.
I would like the purchaser to see important info about what they are choosing. Most users will not know to click on the info image to obtain this information.14 votes -
It would notify bidders either they won
One of the things I noted was that Ready Set Auction does not notify bidders that they won the bid. The bidder has to sign on to see that they owe something. When the event is strictly an online event, it is important the bidders are notified. Otherwise the volunteers have to call everyone to let them know.

Increase Dollar Amount Limit
The current dollar amount limit is $99,999.99. In order to add $100,000+ sponsors I have to sell them multiple sponsorships, which can get confusing and make accounting for cash and sponsorships harder than needed.

Be able to set a default date on gift certificate expiration
Currently you have to change the date to your desired date on every GC. It would be much easier if you could set a default (like one year from date of event) and make changes for exceptions only.

The "Select All" feature on the Manage Bidders/Manage Donors page should select all on ALL pages
Currently, in most situations, "Select All" will only select patrons on the current page. It is incredibly time consuming to perform an action on every single page of patrons. "Select All" should truly select all designated donors/bidders, or there should be the option to display all records on a single page.

Link bidders within a single party for easy navigation
If I am looking at the bidder record for person A, I should easily be able to get to person B, who is the second member in their party. It should just be a link. Right now I have to use three tabs for this: one for person A, another for that RSVP-by-party report, and a third for person B, who I have to search on.

Custom URL
It would be a nice a feature to be able to customize the URL for the organization. Organizations with long names will be cut off, and this can lead to confusing the Donor or Bidder for where they are trying to

Set a Minimum (Reserve) Price
It would be nice if we were able to set a reserve minimum price for an item that way at the end of the event if the reserve is not met, we are not required to sell the item.

Allow the Bidder invitation email expiration to be extended by event staff
This will prevent Bidders from receiving too many emails if they do not register with the event website when they first receive the email.

Error message were easier to interpret.
Error messages could possibly be improved by highlighting the solution in bright yellow, if it is something in plain language like "Please reload and try again", or even a link to click to solve the problem. More details of the problem could still be included outside the highlighted part or in a "read more" link, but volunteers in the moment don't want to read about the problem, only make the problem go away instantly. For example, in @Event > Create Invoices > bidder number.

Multiple Buyers & Multiple Payment forms
We often have a group of buyers who purchase high-dollar items and need a way to include multiple buyer numbers and amounts.
Similarly, an organization may purchase an item from a combination of cash and checks. It would be helpful to break down a payment using multiple payment forms.13 votes
