  1. Make email subjects customizable

    It would be helpful to have more email templates available - including one that is completely blank with no subject. In the absence of that option, it would at least be helpful to allow us to customize the subject line of emails sent through the templates available. This would help us draw attention to different focus areas of our event.

  2. we could choose pledge date vs. payment date for pledged giving

    Users often have some patrons who pledged money on one date and paid later, but the payment date in DonorPerfect is showing as the pledge date. It would be preferable to have control over whether the date is recorded when pledges vs. when payment is received.

  3. Alphabetize the Prospective Donor List for Letters and Labels

    Alphabetize the Prospective Donor List for Letters and Labels. At present, the letters and labels print in the random order in which they are added to the Ready Set Auction system. As the lists get longer (1000+) it is tedious to match up letters and labels.

  4. Allow proxy bidding for unregistered bidders

    The purpose of proxy bidding is to accommodate guests who do not want to deal with the eBidding technology. We feel the fact that the guest must register for an account and verify it through email to proxy bid undermines its purpose. We would like to allow guests to bid by proxy regardless of whether they are registered for an account or not.

  5. we could invoice and receipt our sponsors. Most all of our patrons are the sponsors and attendees.

    Almost all of our sponsors are attendees of our event. When they check out, it would be helpful to be able to see their actual balances, including sponsorships, and not just what they purchased during the auction.

  6. Bounce Back Emails Could Be Customized

    It would be great if we could customize the subject and body of the bounce-back emails for patrons to better communicate what the issue is and what they need to do to fix it.

  7. Faster Check-In Process

    There needs to be a faster way to check in and add a credit card. Maybe just via a phone number - vs email, phone, password, codes...etc. We had many people decide to just not check in and not bid because it was too hard.

  8. copy an auction package from a previous event

    Some of our donors give the same item every year. It would be great if there was an easy way to duplicate a donation (or package) from a previous event and then do minor edits as needed. This would be a great time saver.

  9. admins could receive a bcc email for all purchases instead of just on bids

    Right now users can only receive a bcc email when bidders place their bids. It would be great if we could receive bcc emails for all purchases made through an event instead.

  10. Hire designers to customize a patch ourselves

    I was looking out for a few designs that can be relatable to my logo, but it would be far better if I can actually get to create my own patches with the assistance of some experts who can help me through selecting the most suitable color or size etc. I am specifically looking out for some velcro patches near me as it would also be great to communicate easily.

  13. Report of all emails sent

    Enable a report that shows a record of all emails sent. Currently it is very difficult to double check who has received emails or not, unless you click into the history of each individual patron. It's important for accounting purposes that we have a record of the receipts being sent.

    This could be done by showing a column for "Receipt Sent?" on the patron list. There is a "Thanked?" column, but we do not always use the Thank You email template for sending receipts to those who made monetary contributions.

  18. Use 2 letter code for states instead of the whole name

    Entering a state is clunky - consider switching to the 2 letter abbreviation. Using the example of KANSAS - if you type in the name it consistently brings up ARKANSAS - everything uses the 2 letter abbreviation which is a LOT faster.

  20. Allow the FMV to be changed after bidding has begun

    We had an unfortunate experience where a typo in the FMV field caused all receipts with that item to have the wrong FMV. As a result, we had to send revised receipts to everyone who had purchased that item (there were many available for purchase). Allow the FMV to be changed at any time in the event there is a typo. Patrons who had already bid on the item could be sent the option to review the change and retract previous bids if they desire.
