  1. It would be great if Catalog numbers could be Alphanumeric

It would be advantageous for Catalog numbers to have alphanumerics to help guide the bidders in a series of related packages as well as Auction organizers to more logically track them, separate from the Inventory numbers, of course.

Some organizations have non-numeric coding schemes which greatly increase their efficiency, both behind the scenes and Auction facing.

For example, A Catalog number starting with "R" would be for the Red table, helpful for everyone; more simple, in fact, than a number in the 9000 series that represents the Red table.

  2. Allow mobile bidding to update all bidders with a change in the end-time for bidding

Mid event, we needed to make a change to the time that mobile bidding was finishing, and the system only allowed us to make that change one bidder at a time. A function allowing us to make that change for all 200 bidders with one click would have saved us a lot of time on the night.

  3. Allow for the display sheets with photos to be able to be edited

Either have them be a word doc or produced in RTF instead of HTML.

  4. Anonymous Bidder report

I would like to be able to see who is bidding as anonymous in a report.

  5. Ticket descriptions should be more visible than just in the information bubble.

  6. We could order items on our online catalog for virtual auctions. Also didn't like how "Request an Account" implied approval process.

We would have liked the ability to organize our virtual auction items, instead of the default ABC order.

Also, when our interested bidders clicked to create an account the webpage said "Request an Account." We saw many people click on our link to create an account, but only so many people actually created one. We worry that the "Request" language deterred people thinking it involved more than what it was, which was an automatic approval that we set up in our settings.

  7. Business Name always printed on receipts for business donors

If the donor is a business, the business name needs to be on the receipt irregardless of what the attention line states. When sending a receipt to a business the salutation should be addressed to the contact's name but the business needs to show up on the receipt area for their records. Right now the salutation is dear (Attention Field) and then the business name is never mentioned.

  8. Not every event has eBidding

I'm using RSA to sell advanced tickets and capture credit cards for traditional bidding. No eBidding / No Catalog. Unfortunately, the account creation email for ticket purchasing requests eBidding instructions (i.e., Remain anonymous, inform if overbid). THIS IS VERY CONFUSING SINCE WE HAVE NO EBIDDING. CAN THIS BE REMOVED?

  10. Personalized display names

Our bidders loved bidding with personalized, creative bidder display names. This created more bidding wars than the simple anonymous112, anonymous 124, etc. Most people did not want their actual names shown online.

  11. separate date and time on your reports

RSA puts the date and time together in a field. It takes up too much room in a report, and you cannot cut iff off at date. For most reports, we don't care about the time and would like to delete or hide that part. YOu cannot if it is part of the date. I suggest that RSA makes it two separate fields.

  12. Staff could have real time notifications of ticket or sponsorship purchases

This is my first time with RSA and I assumed there would be some notification when a donor purchases tickets etc to our event. Surprised there's not, and a little frustrated I have to keep checking in Reports.

  13. Suggestions to Improve Usability and Flexibility

    Hi everyone,

I’ve been using ReadySetAuction for a while and overall it’s a very helpful platform for managing events and auctions, especially when it comes to organizing items and tracking bidders. That said, I think there’s still room for improvement in terms of usability and flexibility. It would be great to have more customizable reports and filtering options to quickly access important data during busy events.

Additionally, improvements in navigation and a more intuitive interface would make the experience smoother, especially for new users. More control over registration forms or required fields would also be very useful for different event…

  14. Block Blast: A Game of Strategy and Geometric Block Placement

The "Block Blast: A Game of Strategy and Geometric Block Placement" event gives people the chance to learn good game strategies, figure out how to make the best use of room, and improve their ability to think critically. By playing games, players learn how to better study situations, guess what other players will do, and come up with long-term plans that will get them the best results.

Block Blast is popular because it is a great mix of fun and brain training. Focus, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills can all be improved by playing the game. This is why Block…

  15. Duplicate Listing

Every time I post identical things, it takes a lot of effort to recreate the same details. It would be quite helpful to have a "Duplicate Listing" option that creates a fresh draft with the same title, description, photos, pricing, shipping information, and other details. Users can then modify only the fields that needs to be updated rather than starting from scratch. This will significantly expedite the handling of frequent listings and reduce errors caused by manually entering the same data again. I think both casual sellers and power users would save time with this small improvement.

  16. ReadySetAuction Embraces AI Technology

As AI alters corporate processes, ReadySetAuction's use of AI technology has become a hot subject in the online auction industry. Integrating AI provides potential for the platform to improve data processing capabilities, maximize user experiences, and streamline participation.

One major advantage of AI is its capacity to quickly examine large amounts of data. Instead of users manually searching through a large number of goods, intelligent systems may assess interaction history and make recommendations based on individual preferences. This makes finding auctions easier and more personalized.

Artificial intelligence can also help with management and operations. Algorithms can detect aberrant data patterns,…

  17. Add back in the Number of Lines for the bid form auto calculation on the Package page.

That was a great feature! I DO want to know how many bid increments I'm creating when I set bidding parameters. Thanks!

  19. Allow single function record sales and check out for Buy in parties or raffle only sales

Similar to Quick Method to Sell Sponsorships & RSVP where sales entry and checkout can be a single step. We keep having to delete recorded sales at check out, because the payment only covered some of the recorded sales. Then you have to reenter those sales and checkout again. Too many steps.
