Show associated package(s) on the Donation Page - Better yet, include links to the package(s)
When viewing a donation record, it would be nice to be able to easily tell what package or packages a donation has been assigned to. Currently, if a donation has been mistakenly assigned to a package and there is no reference to it in the package name or description, there is no way to find what package the donation is assigned to without exporting the Package Status report to Excel and doing a "Find" from within the spreadsheet. You should be able to see what Package the Donation is assigned to from within the Donation Record.

It would be great if Add to Showcase was an option in the Actions box
At the bottom of the Manage Package page, it would be great to include "Add to Showcase" to the drop down menu so that you can choose all the packages you want in the showcase in bulk action instead if having to choose it when you fill out the form. You should also be able to search by packages that are in the showcase, so you can then modify as needed.

Add Custom Reporting (or include all applicable fields in the reports that you provide)
Some of your reports do not include important fields that would be useful for reviewing records. (ie "Packaging Status" report does not include Package Description and Donation Comments, which would be useful to verify that all pertinent information was included when the package was created... another example is on the Data Exchange Page, the "Item/Services Donation Report" does not include a Donation #). I realize that you can't please everyone so maybe adding a custom report feature, allowing users to create reports from all available fields would be the answer. Link to the individual donor detail pages from the Donors column on Manage Donations page
Under Items>Manage Donations please make the Donation Name column link to the editable details of the donation, it would be great if you would also link to the individual donor detail pages from the Donors column.

Tag purchases that have gift cards included for pick up at check out.
Be able to tag a package that includes a gift card or gift certificate so that it appears at checkout time. Clerks will then know that there is a gift card or gift certificate to give to purchaser

In main "manage packages" search interface, provide field to search by whether there is an image or not (catalog, showcase).

Create "Online Submission Only" donor fields
Many MANY businesses have now established their own online donation request site. I got about a dozen of my request letters responded to by people telling me that I had to go to their website to apply for a donation.
Currently I'm using first name "Online" and last name "Only" to mark these for myself, and the "Notes" field for the web address, but this is cumbersome. Since it seems more and more prevalent, I don't think this is out of bounds, but rather the direction a lot of companies are going.

Please make it possible to batch edit the "asked" status for donors when on the main donor list without having to send an email.

Add back in the Number of Lines for the bid form auto calculation on the Package page.

Be able to delete donors from the donor info page
There should be a button to delete a patron when you are on that donor's specific page. Right now it seems like you have to be on the page that lists all the donors.

Give donors a donation receipt automatically.
When a person enters an item they should get a receipt they can print out that verifies that the donation was entered. This would serve two purposes. 1) The donor knows the process was successful and 2) They have a receipt to include with the item they donate that serves as a label for the auction staff to know who the item came from and can easily match it up with the online entry. Maybe this is something that would happen after the item is approved? An email could be sent to the donor with the information.

Edit & switch between packages quickly
When working on packages it would be great to be able to hit "Next Package" or "Previous Package" instead of having to go back to the full list of packages and scroll down to the next one you need to work on. Additionally, having an option to "go to package #____" would help save time when working on adding things to the packages.
Many times I've wanted to add similar wording of things and I have to wait for the full list to load and then remember which item is next to work on etc.18 votes -
Allow patrons more account options
Allow guests who have registered and paid for their tickets to be able to manage their meal choices, people in their party & other details. This would make having table hosts much easier. Right now when someone buys 10 seats (1 table) they have to enter the information about the guests right away. They can leave this section blank, but then they need to take the additional steps of letting a staff person know the information about their table guests and we have to enter the information. Better management of contacts
I'd like to see contact lists be more like the ones we use in Gmail. For example, currently you can assign donors and bidders to "affiliations".
For existing contacts, it would be great if you could select a group of donor contacts and add them all to a particular affiliation. Currently, you have to click on each contact and separately add them to the affiliation group.
Also, there's no way to sort lists by multiple affiliations. For example, what if I want a list of donors who are in affiliations "church and NOT school".

Bring back more detailed staff access levels
I would like to see the ability to be more detailed with the access levels for staff brought back. Volunteers who work in one specific area do not necessarily need the ability to see and/or modify the information in another area.

Ability to send a "know before you go" group email with last minute reminders and information to all RSVP's.

Bidder Names on Bid Card (Paddle)
It would be a great improvement for Bid Cards to be printed with the associated bidder guest names on them. We had so many problems with people picking up the wrong bidder card at the Silent/Live Auction that last year we typed the names on each of our 400 cards!
