Edit & switch between packages quickly
When working on packages it would be great to be able to hit "Next Package" or "Previous Package" instead of having to go back to the full list of packages and scroll down to the next one you need to work on. Additionally, having an option to "go to package #____" would help save time when working on adding things to the packages.
Many times I've wanted to add similar wording of things and I have to wait for the full list to load and then remember which item is next to work on etc.18 votes -
Allow patrons more account options
Allow guests who have registered and paid for their tickets to be able to manage their meal choices, people in their party & other details. This would make having table hosts much easier. Right now when someone buys 10 seats (1 table) they have to enter the information about the guests right away. They can leave this section blank, but then they need to take the additional steps of letting a staff person know the information about their table guests and we have to enter the information. It would be much more user friendly for our patrons to be able…

Have the ability to export a spreadsheet with multiple years of data
I would like to be able view a list of donors and their past three or more years of donations.

Better management of contacts
I'd like to see contact lists be more like the ones we use in Gmail. For example, currently you can assign donors and bidders to "affiliations".
For existing contacts, it would be great if you could select a group of donor contacts and add them all to a particular affiliation. Currently, you have to click on each contact and separately add them to the affiliation group.
Also, there's no way to sort lists by multiple affiliations. For example, what if I want a list of donors who are in affiliations "church and NOT school".

Bring back more detailed staff access levels
I would like to see the ability to be more detailed with the access levels for staff brought back. Volunteers who work in one specific area do not necessarily need the ability to see and/or modify the information in another area.

Bidder Names on Bid Card (Paddle)
It would be a great improvement for Bid Cards to be printed with the associated bidder guest names on them. We had so many problems with people picking up the wrong bidder card at the Silent/Live Auction that last year we typed the names on each of our 400 cards!

Add Analytics for tracking site traffic
Capture the number of site visitors. This is important to potential donors as they want their contribution to get a lot of publicity and would allow us to communicate results back to our donors.

Add import/export id as a search field when select "find a donor"
In order to maximize the use of that import/export id (which would be a unique identifier for every donor whether its a school family or a vendor) it would be extremely helpful, when adding a donation, to be able to search for a record by that id #.

Be able to set a default date on gift certificate expiration
Currently you have to change the date to your desired date on every GC. It would be much easier if you could set a default (like one year from date of event) and make changes for exceptions only.

Give users ability to customize email templates
Being able to use the logo or banner for your event within email communications/receipts etc would make the communications that come from ReadySetAuction look much more professional and guests could more quickly identify where the email is coming from.

Make Billing Address Optional When Adding Credit Card
Currently the billing address is required to match the credit card being pre-registered. We only have about half of the addresses (very few for sponsor guests) and it takes an awful long time to type this info in, as lines forming to check in. Or we have a home address - and they are using business card. I know our merchant account doesn't require an address - it just costs us more if we don't use one. I would like the option to make it a requirement or not. Anything to speed up the process!

Quick Method to Sell Sponsorships and RSVP
Selling a sponsorship and recording an RSVP for the sale is currently a two step process. Record the sponsorship sale (as a donation under the Donations tab), then record the RSVP (under the RSVPs tab). This process could be streamlined to behave more like ticket sales, by adding a "Sell Sponsorships & RSVP" button to the Patrons > RSVPs tab.

Improve Screening of Donation Inbox
Donation Inbox screening uses the donor's email address as a unique identifier for the donor. If a donor record already exists with that email address when the donation is accepted from the inbox, then the donation is associated with that existing donor and the donor's name on the incoming donation is ignored. This is a safeguard to prevent users of the public procurement form (which is accessible to anyone) from maliciously or accidentally altering existing donor data.
This feature would allow the staff user to be notified of the match (during the screening process) and have the option of altering…

Make Expiration Date Optional for System-Generated Gift Certificates
Some donors want us to create a gift certificate for them and want no expiration date. Currently we have to enter a date. The workaround is to edit the RTF file prior to printing but that's time-consuming and apt to be forgotten in the busy days before an event.

Generate Invoices for Specific Groups of Bidders
We print invoices for check out, and it would be great if could print those who owe who we have a credit card for - and those that don't. Would save lots of time for wouldn't have to manually separate them.

Check Out as Guest
Currently, guests are required to create an account prior to purchasing tickets or sponsorships via the event website. Benefits of this approach: Accurate tracking of which guests make which purchases, Consolidated reporting and receipts for each purchaser, Ability of guest to return at a later date and purchase additional items, Ability of guest to store credit card number for future use (both for event website purchases as well as event-night checkout via the Control Center). However, the requirement to create an account does create additional friction during the purchase process, and may cause some purchasers to abandon the purchase process.…

Increase Dollar Amount Limit
The current dollar amount limit is $99,999.99. In order to add $100,000+ sponsors I have to sell them multiple sponsorships, which can get confusing and make accounting for cash and sponsorships harder than needed.
