Improve viewing of online reports
When viewing on line generated reports you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the file to scroll to the right/left of the report. Plus the header row is not visible when reading further into the report. Many times I like to just view info before exporting or printing and it is frustrating to scroll to bottom of file when you just want to look to the right or left of spread sheet and I don't want to export the file each time to just read for info.

Allow Notes to be Edited and Deleted
We often add Notes to a Patron's record for others to handle. For example, the Reservations people enter Notes for the people handling the Table Assignments. But sometimes that information needs to be edited or deleted, and currently that is not allowed.

Allow event expenses to be entered
The homepage of RSA is great. We are obsessed with the Gross Proceeds tile. What would make it even better is if there was way to also input expenses related to putting on the event, like venue cost, entertainment cost, etc. so that you could generate a complete Income Statement out of RSA. That would be a HUGE value.

Allow merged invoices for couples that eBid separately
Currently couples can share a bidder #, but if they want to eBid online as individuals (with their individual email addresses), there is no way to get a merged invoice. This means they need to checkout separately. This makes checkout confusing, because couples checkout with their shared bidder # at the end of the event, and may not realize they have not paid for one spouse's online winnings.

Allow single function record sales and check out for Buy in parties or raffle only sales
Similar to Quick Method to Sell Sponsorships & RSVP where sales entry and checkout can be a single step. We keep having to delete recorded sales at check out, because the payment only covered some of the recorded sales. Then you have to reenter those sales and checkout again. Too many steps.

Allow Event Staff to Access Prior Events
Currently, only staff members registered for a particular event can access that event. This means that a new staff member on the current event's staff roster cannot access prior events unless he/she was already on that prior event's staff roster as well. Since staff turnover is fairly common, and new staff often like to refer back to prior event data, it would be very helpful to allow all current staff members to access prior events, even if they were not registered staff members for those events.

Have a childcare ticket option
Our auction provides childcare and it would be nice to have a completely separate ticket structure for that. Currently, we have to bundle it with regular admission tickets which assigns kids a bid number and makes for manual count of actual ticket sales. It would be nice if when a couple buys a ticket there is an option to add a child or children and would keep them as a party, but keep the child separate from regular ticket sale numbers.

Enable the salutation field to be imported
The salutation is the only patron field that is not able to be uploaded into RSA. It is importaint to be able to both formally, and informally address our patrons. When importing from our DPO system, this is a key peice of information.

Make Automatic Disabling of Win-it-Now Optional
During eBidding, if a package with a Win-it-Now price achieves 80% or more of the Win-it-Now price, the Win-it-Now option is automatically deactivated. This is done to maximize the high bid on popular items. It is especially beneficial in cases where the package creator may have underestimated the market potential of an item and under-priced the Win-it-Now option.
This feature would make this behavior optional, allowing the auction staff to decide if the Win-it-Now option should always remain available for packages, even after bidding reaches the 80% threshold.

Need to be able to distinguish between Donors who wish to receive mail, email, or online only communications
Would love check boxes that would allow me to check off whether donors would rather be contacted via mail, email, or an online application form (I guess phone could be an option, but that's not super relevant for me).
It's not at all convenient to put this in the "notes" field, as it's not a searchable field, and it's labor intensive to sift through and find out who wants what.
This week I printed a 17 page list of mailing labels, and spent 3 days whittling it down to 11 so that I wasn't mailing out an extra 200 letters…3 votes -

Once I look at the Event Catalog, it's really really hard to figure out how to get back to the event home page. It took me four different attempts.

Contact Email Address Not Unique
Let the email address associated to a Contact on a Business Donor record be a duplicate to an email address for an individual. Many times you want to list the Donor for a sponsorship or an auction donation as a business, but the contact that you should send a thank you to at that business record is also an individual bidder. Without being able to duplicate emails you either have to list the donor as the individual, or you have no way to email a thank you note for the business record.

Allow "Ask Selected" to b updated for donors without emails
Right now, when you are sending out solicitations to your entire database, the only way to change the Asked Status to "yes" is to generate an email solicitation through RSA. So, any business without an associated email will not have their status changed to "yes". However, when you send out mail to all of these businesses, there should be a way to change them all to yes in bulk instead of having to change the status individually. This is important as you continue to add new businesses to the database so that you can search all those with a "no"…

Allow bid numbers to be imported as an option
We have used other systems to manage our event, and those have allowed us to import bid numbers. I would like to be able to import these - a HUGE headache for I'd already printed packets with assigned bid numbers before I tried to load into RSA and it's taken all day to get RSA Bid #s to agree.

Allow staff to issue credit amounts at check out
Ability to issue credits amounts at check out. Someone may win a $200 credit playing heads/tails game, etc.
