  1. Transfer to Donor Perfect before the event is locked.

To have the ability to transfer event data to donor perfect before the event is locked. Currently the transfer to donor perfect won't work until 4 weeks after the event.

  2. Event Date Range

I would like to be able to put in a range for my event date so that on my event website it reflects correctly.

  3. The DonorPerfect Data Transfer Preview Report included Donor IDs!

For many reasons we did not wish to use the automatic data transfer between RSA and DP and therefore had to download reports and manually upload them to DP. If this data transfer preview report had included a donor ID field, this would've made the data transfer SO much faster.

  4. Allow for the display sheets with photos to be able to be edited

Either have them be a word doc or produced in RTF instead of HTML.

  5. Allow the bidder database to be edited within RSA, prior to sending out any emails

We created a list of bidders from the prior event to facilitate set up for this year's event. Obviously not all bidders from 2019 were in attendance in 2020. So when it came time to communicate with only those attending (or, indeed, any subset of the database we wanted to contact), we were not able to do this within RSA, but had to download the data-set, edit in Excel, and then use our regular ConstantContact mail capabilities. Being able to do this within RSA would have been significantly easier.

  6. Allowing table purchasers to be entered the same way as individual seat purchaser

Anybody wanting to buy a table had to enter this as a sponsor, which had two adverse consequences: a) it was hard for attendees buying tables to find how to do so on the site (we had to speak with a lot of folks to advise them how to do this); and b) generating reports of attendees was difficult from an administrative perspective, because accessing information about individuals and sponsors have to be done in two different ways. We view individual purchasers and table purchases (other than a true sponsor, such as a corporation) as the same thing.

  7. Allow mobile bidding to update all bidders with a change in the end-time for bidding

Mid event, we needed to make a change to the time that mobile bidding was finishing, and the system only allowed us to make that change one bidder at a time. A function allowing us to make that change for all 200 bidders with one click would have saved us a lot of time on the night.

  8. Customize Report options

I would like to have a report that I could choose the data fields that I need in my report and onsite print material. More options for advanced users would be really nice.

  9. Jump To This Field Message

Instead of saying "jump to this field", and not taking the client anywhere, the message should instead list what the client has to do in order to take action that they are trying to accomplish.

  11. Choose different From addresses within the Donor thanks email and the bidder thanks email

In communications, you can choose differentiating From addresses in all tab except the Donor thanks tab and the bidder tab. If you update the from address in the donor thanks, it update the from address in the bidder thanks. It would be beneficial to allow the users to choose different from addresses in those tabs as you can with the other.

  12. Allow patrons to store credit card information without making a purchase (2nd request)

I am resubmitting a feature request that was created in 2016. This feature was marked "Already Exists" and closed. Although the RSA Support Manager responded (and his response make sense for SPECIFIC conditions), the current implementation of ReadySetAuction does NOT address wholly.

    Here's the original request word-for-word:
Currently, patrons are required to make an online purchase (admission tickets, sponsorship sales, etc.) in order to be presented with the option to store their credit card information for use at the event. It would be great if they were able to create this online account and store credit card information without having…

  13. Have the ability to override closed auction items.

Once the online auction has closed. Sometimes additional bidders will step forward, or they missed the bidding timeline. It would be beneficial to be able to override a current bid and outbid the previous winner.

  14. The showcase image pulled on the catalog image

It would be great if an event showcase could pull from the catalog image if there is no showcase image.

  15. Auctions could be continuous, every week or two, with silent and eBidding opening and closing on a regular basis.

It would be great to have the ability to electronically manage ongoing auctions, where people can bid on packages (silent via Forms/Emails as well as eBidding) almost all the time. Packages can be checked to see if they are still available (vs sold at the prior week's auction) and submit their bid. The current RSA software requires the opening and closing/locking of auctions throughout the year, making it cumbersome to manage.

  16. Last minute "no bid" notification

It would be nice to have the option to quickly notify our guests of items that have not been bid on yet, or notify them that the auction will be closing soon with a quick text. More people check text messages much quicker than email.

  17. Allow Admin users to setup/start New Events

Allow admin account users to close out old events and start new events without contacting RSA is they paid for the service already.

  18. Credit card zip code error messages were more informative

Under @Event > Check Out Guest (also @Event > Check In Guest) you can add a credit card for a bidder.

If that bidder has a Canadian zip code, you must enter it with a space, for example, K0H 9Z0 in order for RSA to accept it.
If a US client happens to have a one-off Canadian bidder, and they are unfamiliar with the format of Canadian zip codes, they may try to enter this as K0H9Z0. This format is not accepted, and you are not able to add the card if you don't know that you need the space.

  20. It would be great if Catalog numbers could be Alphanumeric

It would be advantageous for Catalog numbers to have alphanumerics to help guide the bidders in a series of related packages as well as Auction organizers to more logically track them, separate from the Inventory numbers, of course.

Some organizations have non-numeric coding schemes which greatly increase their efficiency, both behind the scenes and Auction facing.

For example, A Catalog number starting with "R" would be for the Red table, helpful for everyone; more simple, in fact, than a number in the 9000 series that represents the Red table.
