  1. Separate sponsorships from donations.

    Separate sponsorships (i.e. table sponsorships) out from the other donations, since they have different functions - for our event, our table sponsors are dealt with much differently than our auction donors. This would be helpful when sending thank you letters and when pulling reports at the end... Also, create a separate Sponsors area under the patrons tab, instead of lumping the sponsors in with the donors.

  2. Add Custom Reporting (or include all applicable fields in the reports that you provide)

    Some of your reports do not include important fields that would be useful for reviewing records. (ie "Packaging Status" report does not include Package Description and Donation Comments, which would be useful to verify that all pertinent information was included when the package was created... another example is on the Data Exchange Page, the "Item/Services Donation Report" does not include a Donation #). I realize that you can't please everyone so maybe adding a custom report feature, allowing users to create reports from all available fields would be the answer.   3. Allow bid numbers to be imported as an option

    We have used other systems to manage our event, and those have allowed us to import bid numbers. I would like to be able to import these - a HUGE headache for I'd already printed packets with assigned bid numbers before I tried to load into RSA and it's taken all day to get RSA Bid #s to agree.

  4. support mobile card readers

    It would make the system more flexible to integrate mobile swipe devices allowing staff to handle credit card swipes with an ipad or iphone. It also makes the use of wifi not as important which in some venues can be sketchy.

  5. Contact Email Address Not Unique

    Let the email address associated to a Contact on a Business Donor record be a duplicate to an email address for an individual. Many times you want to list the Donor for a sponsorship or an auction donation as a business, but the contact that you should send a thank you to at that business record is also an individual bidder. Without being able to duplicate emails you either have to list the donor as the individual, or you have no way to email a thank you note for the business record.

  6. Allow "Ask Selected" to b updated for donors without emails

    Right now, when you are sending out solicitations to your entire database, the only way to change the Asked Status to "yes" is to generate an email solicitation through RSA. So, any business without an associated email will not have their status changed to "yes". However, when you send out mail to all of these businesses, there should be a way to change them all to yes in bulk instead of having to change the status individually. This is important as you continue to add new businesses to the database so that you can search all those with a "no"…

  8. Place Donor Contact Information on RSA Generated Gift Certificates

    How are winners supposed to know who to contact when they win an item? It would be very helpful if RSA could give the option to include the donor information on the gift certificate. I'm having to manually go in and add it to all gift certificates, therefore adding that info twice.

    Once I look at the Event Catalog, it's really really hard to figure out how to get back to the event home page. It took me four different attempts.

  10. Make it easier to navigate in Manage Donors or Manage Patrons

    When in Manage Donations or Manage Bidders, when there are multiple pages, it is frustrating to be working on a donation on page 3, for example, then when I click on return to manage donations, I am returned all the way back to page 1, rather than the page I was working on. Also, when there are multiple pages, not all the page numbers are displayed in the selection section at the top. The display may show pages 1,2,3,4,5..........10,11,12. So if I want to go to page 6, I first have to go to page 5, then click forward to…

  11. Customize online donation form

    I would like to have more control over what the online donation form includes and the instructions given to donors. Currently it seems easier for me to create a google form to collect the information I need and import the information later. However, since it is something I'm paying for I would like to use what's offered. But because I can't seem to get the information I want, it is requiring me to contact donors individually to ask more specific questions.

  12. Remove "Received" status as a requirement for Donor Thank You letters.

    Right before the auction, it is helpful to see which items I am still waiting for in the report under "Donor Will Provide" Or Arrange to Pick Up" and after the auction, there is no reason I would want to spend the time going back to mark everything as Received, except that my donor letters won't print correctly unless I do that. It took hours of work to go back to each file to change the status, just so the letters would be correct.

  13. Give donors a donation receipt automatically.

    When a person enters an item they should get a receipt they can print out that verifies that the donation was entered. This would serve two purposes. 1) The donor knows the process was successful and 2) They have a receipt to include with the item they donate that serves as a label for the auction staff to know who the item came from and can easily match it up with the online entry. Maybe this is something that would happen after the item is approved? An email could be sent to the donor with the information.

  14. Show associated package(s) on the Donation Page - Better yet, include links to the package(s)

    When viewing a donation record, it would be nice to be able to easily tell what package or packages a donation has been assigned to. Currently, if a donation has been mistakenly assigned to a package and there is no reference to it in the package name or description, there is no way to find what package the donation is assigned to without exporting the Package Status report to Excel and doing a "Find" from within the spreadsheet. You should be able to see what Package the Donation is assigned to from within the Donation Record.

  15. Shared Bidder Numbers Need to be Reflected in Reports

    Merge Bidders Using the Same Bidder # in Printed Materials - I think allowing couples to have the same bidder number is great, but the reports don't reflect that relationship. There needs to be a way that couples can share a bidder number and have all of reports/communications recognize that as well, especially when it comes time to send thank you letters!

  17. Tag purchases that have gift cards included for pick up at check out.

    Be able to tag a package that includes a gift card or gift certificate so that it appears at checkout time. Clerks will then know that there is a gift card or gift certificate to give to purchaser

  18. Edit certificates from within the Packages

    1. Ability to see GCs from within package view not just donation view.
    2. Quick link to view what the certificate will look like from donation or package view.
    3. Something that notes how many certificates are associated with each package - would really help logistically when assembling GCs for checkout

  19. Edit & switch between packages quickly

    When working on packages it would be great to be able to hit "Next Package" or "Previous Package" instead of having to go back to the full list of packages and scroll down to the next one you need to work on. Additionally, having an option to "go to package #____" would help save time when working on adding things to the packages.
    Many times I've wanted to add similar wording of things and I have to wait for the full list to load and then remember which item is next to work on etc.

  20. Allow patrons more account options

    Allow guests who have registered and paid for their tickets to be able to manage their meal choices, people in their party & other details. This would make having table hosts much easier. Right now when someone buys 10 seats (1 table) they have to enter the information about the guests right away. They can leave this section blank, but then they need to take the additional steps of letting a staff person know the information about their table guests and we have to enter the information.
