Donor Covers Fees When Donating Online

Similar to DonorPerfect, we need an option (some sort of check box) that donors can select to cover fees as part of their donation. We are aware that you can do so when physically checking out guests at the event, but if donors are just providing an online donation or buying a sponsorship, they are not given this option. As a non-profit, we use this feature in DonorPerfect a lot and really need to see it in ReadySetAuction as well.

    This should be implemented ASAP. Money is being left on the table and our donors are accustomed to covering these costs. It is sending a message that we do not need these covered and it adds up to thousands of dollars. Why has this not happened? We see that your customers have been asking for this for years!

    This is absolutely ridiculous that this isn't an option. Especially since its been requested time and time again since 2018. I did double the work last year to utilize Donor Perfect to take my RSVPs and then merged them into RSA in order to give my invitees this option. What are we paying for? There are many other event software options that allow this and much more. Definitely will be looking at other options since this feature still isn't available. Very disappointing.

    This is costing non-profits thousands of dollars and most donors are willing to offset the cost. It would be a good feature to have and in a lot of ways is a hidden cost to having this software vs. going with another vendor who offers the option for donors to offset the fees

    From the comments ahead of this one it appears that RSA clients have been asking for this functionality since 2018. How many votes does it take to get it added? We are a non-profit and need to have this.

    Donor cover cost button is definitely needed for ReadySetAuction.

    It doesn't make sense that the feature is available for Donor Perfect buttons but not ReadySetAuction.

    We have started to transition over to the option on all of our DP forms and your donors love this feature. We had our first RSA auction and several donors were asking where the cover cost button was. This would be a great feature to have in RSA.

    Any credit card payment (ticket purchase or invoice) should have the option attached to add 3% credit card fee recorded as a donation.

    This is very important for non-profits, to give donors the option to cover costs. This is already a feature in Donor Perfect, so it should definitely be a feature in RSA.
