have the event website as such that returning donors/bidders do not have to request/create a new account for the new event.
Since patron information can roll over from a previous event, it would be great if our returning bidders did not have to request and subsequently create a new account year after year.

yes please make this change!
With all of our events going virtual and back to back. This suggestion is very important to us. We had a different platform we used and we didn't have his issue. The bidder had the same login and password for the event online auction we set up. We choose to move over to RSA because of the DP connection not knowing this would not be an easy transition for our bidders. This is really a set back to RSA in our eyes....because we want it to be as smooth as possible for our bidders.
I am extremely pleased with RSA's programs with the exception of this issue. We are utilizing the program to hold monthly raffles and auctions in addition to using it for events and making my patrons create new users month after month creates frustration on both ends. I want to be able to give our patrons a streamlined way of 'donating' to our organization and this has put a hitch into that.
Ugh. this ends up being a lot of hand-holding for guests. I often have to delete any record that includes their email or phone number, then later merge the records. I HATE this part of the event registration process. It is very cumbersome for our guests!
We just started using RSA and I assumed that the accounts would roll over. This should definitely happen since the rest of the data rolls over.
