Attendees could send a text to an event phone number to be checked in.
A phone number could be created by RSA on the day of the event that a text can be sent to check-in. If the phone number has been provided by the client beforehand, the bidder can check in with their phone attached to that number. For example text CHECKMEIN to 556569 to check-in and not stand in the check in line!

I have been planning events for over 5 years and I have never seen an online event management system that does not send a text message to guests that will:
1) Welcome them to the event
2) Provide a link to bid in the online auctionThis is crutial to the success of the event.
Also, the planners should have the ability to text guests throughout the evening reminding them of certain things like:
The Silent Auction will close in 5 minutes.
The Live Auction will begin in 5 minutes
etc... -

Also notify a client when they are checked in, with a link to the event to they can start bidding.

I was under the impression this was already an option, very disappointed!
