    I have been planning events for over 5 years and I have never seen an online event management system that does not send a text message to guests that will:
    1) Welcome them to the event
    2) Provide a link to bid in the online auction

    This is crutial to the success of the event.

    Also, the planners should have the ability to text guests throughout the evening reminding them of certain things like:
    The Silent Auction will close in 5 minutes.
    The Live Auction will begin in 5 minutes
    etc...
