  1. Change Person to Business or Business to Person Record Type

    It would be nice to have an option to allow a Person's record to be change to a Business record. Right now the only option is to delete the record and then add a new one as a business.

  3. Make it easier to bring donors from DPO into RSA

    To help RSA interface with DonorPerfect - specifically for bringing donors from DPO into RSA through an import, they should store information in a more similar manner and RSA should have more of the fields that DonorPerfect has:
    -RSA doesn't track specific donor types such as company, foundation, church, etc, can this donor/patron type field be added?
    -Can the optional line field be added to RSA, or can the business vs individual records use first/last name the same way that DonorPerfect does?
    -Can the Country field be added to RSA?
    -Can fax number and business phone number be added to…

  4. Global Update

    It would be beneficial having the option to be able to Globally Update fields that are in Ready Set Auction. An example would be: At the start of an event not everyone will be a Bidder again. It would save time to be able to remove everyone as a Bidder all at once. It would also be helpful to globally update a bidder's status as attending.

  5. Couples in one record instead of two

    Allow couples to only have one household record with two names even if last names are different - can share bidder # or not option as well within one record.

  6. Businesses should be able to be bidders

    Businesses should be able to be bidders. Currently you're not able to convert a business to a bidder, but donations could be made and purchases made on behalf of a business for the business which should receive its own tax-deduction receipt for any amount over the value of the item.

  7. The "Back to Patron List" button should remember which page of the patron list you were on

    It would be really helpful if after going to Patrons > Everyone > and drilling down into a patron record to edit them, when you click the "Back to Patron List" button it would take you back to the exact page in the list of patrons that you were on previously. It can take extra clicks to get back to your particular page if you have a lot of patrons.

  8. Bidder accounts could be used to update guest lists

    Often sponsors purchasing large ticket amounts may not know the names of all their guests at the time of purchase. It would be great if their bidder account could link to their guest list in the control center so that they could enter guest names and then RSA would create the bidder and add the bidder to the sponsor's guest list. This would cut down on the need for event staff to manually update guest lists.

  9. Offer a bulk patron delete option

    Deleting patrons from ReadySetAuction is a tedious process since you must first remove the donor/bidder designation from the record, and then delete the patron record itself. There should be a global delete option in ReadySetAuction where a filter can be set, and any patron who fits that criteria immediately deleted.

  10. Quick Method to Sell Sponsorships and RSVP

    Selling a sponsorship and recording an RSVP for the sale is currently a two step process. Record the sponsorship sale (as a donation under the Donations tab), then record the RSVP (under the RSVPs tab). This process could be streamlined to behave more like ticket sales, by adding a "Sell Sponsorships & RSVP" button to the Patrons > RSVPs tab.

  11. Allow patrons more account options

    Allow guests who have registered and paid for their tickets to be able to manage their meal choices, people in their party & other details. This would make having table hosts much easier. Right now when someone buys 10 seats (1 table) they have to enter the information about the guests right away. They can leave this section blank, but then they need to take the additional steps of letting a staff person know the information about their table guests and we have to enter the information.   12. Bidders and/or Donors from previous events were marked.

    When you bring people over from the previous event, it would be great to have a way that people are marked so they can be filtered to be sent a separate communication from everyone else.

  15. Allow Notes to be Edited and Deleted

    We often add Notes to a Patron's record for others to handle. For example, the Reservations people enter Notes for the people handling the Table Assignments. But sometimes that information needs to be edited or deleted, and currently that is not allowed.

  16. Offer the option to perform a bulk removal of bidder numbers

    One of the default Actions on Bidders should be the option to perform a bulk removal of bidder numbers. Currently, one would need to go into each individual patron record in order to remove the assigned bidder number.

  17. Let users bulk renumber bidders with different ranges based on attending status

    Currently, the bulk renumbering of bidders assigns all bidders a number based on a starting number, regardless of their attendance status. It would be great if we could give all our attending bidders a lower number (say, 100-500), and then our non-attending bidders a much higher number (1000+), without having to assign the numbers in the middle.

  18. Create "Online Submission Only" donor fields

    Many MANY businesses have now established their own online donation request site. I got about a dozen of my request letters responded to by people telling me that I had to go to their website to apply for a donation.
    Currently I'm using first name "Online" and last name "Only" to mark these for myself, and the "Notes" field for the web address, but this is cumbersome. Since it seems more and more prevalent, I don't think this is out of bounds, but rather the direction a lot of companies are going.

  19. Bid without Email Address

    It would be nice if there was the ability to have someone be able to bid without providing an Email. Not every Bidder has an email. A potential option would be adding a check box that asks if they have an email; if they do not have an email it should allow them to still proceed. This way they can bid and then after the event we could mail them a receipt or other communication.

  20. Allow the Bidder invitation email expiration to be extended by event staff

    This will prevent Bidders from receiving too many emails if they do not register with the event website when they first receive the email.
