Feedback request: ideas to improve auction setup and planning
First time posting here and I really appreciate this community. I participate in many online and local auctions, and often I find that planning ahead makes the whole experience much better for both buyers and sellers. For example, clear photos, detailed item descriptions, and good condition notes make bidding more confident and fair for everyone. When I prepare my lots, I try to organize items by categories and estimate how much work I need to prepare them before listing. In construction auctions, sometimes sellers include renovation materials or tools, and having a rough idea of cost helps. I recently came across best concrete estimating services in USA https://tylerestimating.com/concrete-estimating-services which helped me understand how to estimate material needs and costs before listing surplus materials it made my lot descriptions more accurate and helped buyers know what they are getting. Overall, I think this forum could benefit from a pinned guide on best practices for item setup, description writing, condition grading, and maybe even prep cost estimation tips. This would help new sellers and improve quality of listings. What do you think? Any feedback or additional ideas to improve auction listing experience?
