Allow patrons to store credit card information without making a purchase
Currently, patrons are required to make an online purchase (admission tickets, sponsorship sales, etc.) in order to be presented with the option to store their credit card information for use at the event. It would be great if they were able to create this online account and store credit card information without having to make a purchase.
Thank you for this idea. There are three different ways you can store a credit card within readysetauction. Two of them don’t require a patron to make a purchase.
1. As the Admin, you can require a credit card to bid by going to: Admin > Event Settings > Event Website > Check the box that says “Require a stored credit card for eBidding”
2. You can enter the credit card at check-in by going to: @Event > Check In Guest
3. Patron can make a purchase on the event website and choose to save their credit card information for future use.

Yes, this would speed up our entire registration process if people could complete their entire profile, including adding a credit card, online before they ever visit the registration desk. Then there would be almost no manual data entry required by the attendee.

100% yes! This would make check-in 100% easier and also provide way more value to getting people check-in!

Yes. We are encouraging guests to set up their accounts pre-event and this would be one more thing that will make check-in go faster. We have many guests who do not buy tickets because they are invited to sit at a sponsored table.
I agree completely. Having to swipe and wait for cards is a big-time slow spot during event check-in.
