Allow couples to share a bid number as part of the ticket buying process
This would eliminate the need to manually assign a primary bidder. There is no need for primary bidders in a couple.

commentedThis same suggestion is duplicated (more recently) so I hope RSA looks for duplicate suggestions. It had a lot of votes there, too.

commentedAlso fix the purchase and checkout, while you're at it: if a primary + secondary share a bid number, checking either one of them out should make a single transaction with all of the items that either person purchased *or* won in the auction.

commentedAll the other auction software that we have used allowed for this. It's much easier and less confusing! There doesn't even need to be a "Primary Bidder" for couples who share a bid #, just any credit card from one of them is stored and the invoice has both of their names on it. Primary Bidder idea is confusing and not necessary.

commentedCurrently, it is incumbent upon the auction manager to link couples to the same bidder number prior to the event. This is a game of guessing, as not all people on the same reservation are couples or want to pay together. Some couples also have different last names making it difficult to determine if they are friends or on the same "tab". If couples are not linked then items need to be moved to the person in the couple with the cc on file, making for a long checkout.
