• Categories make it easier to find donations when putting them together into packages.
• When you 'quick package' a donation -- meaning you click the Package this Donation button on the donation's Update Donation page – the donation's category or categories will pre-fill into "All Categories" for the package.

Primary Category:

• The Primary Category defines the category that the package will appear in your printed catalog.
• You will assign catalog numbers based on the Primary Category (Items > Packages > Arrange).
• Each package can be assigned to just a single Primary Category.

All Categories:

• All Categories defines where the package will appear in your eCatalog.
• Packages can be assigned to more than one category under "All Categories."
