About the eCatalog & Access Period
What is the eCatalog?
Your eCatalog consists of all the items and packages in your auction that you selected for online viewing through your Event Website. Visitors to your event website can view the eCatalog and decide which items look most appealing. Complete Plan users can also allow guests to place bids on packages that are open for bidding and purchase fixed-price packages that are open for purchase.
How Long is the eCatalog Access Period?
The standard eCatalog Access period is 45 days prior to and 45 days after your event. This viewing period allows guests to preview the items and packages you have available for bid or purchase. Allowing this access helps generate buzz about your hottest items, and if you enable pre-bidding online or through mobile devices, it can help drive your event night starting bids even higher.
The 45 day post-event period will help you extend some of your auction deadlines for items that are receiving the most interest. It also allows bidders who may have been unsuccessful in their pursuits of other items to view packages that may not have received bids and try to win those instead.
You can extend your eCatalog access period through the Admin tab's Purchase Services screen. Extensions are available in two week increments; however, once your eCatalog access period has expired, it can no longer be extended.
How Can I View the Dates of My eCatalog Access Period?
The exact eCatalog Access Period window is noted in the Event Website widget on the Home Dashboard page of your Control Center. During this period, visitors to your event website can view the eCatalog, place bids on packages that are open for bidding, and purchase fixed-price packages that are open for purchase.
