For quick entry, you may import your donation information into ReadySetAuction using the import tool on the Items > Donations > Import page of your Control Center.

Below is a list of the fields that may be imported for donations.

Important Hints and Instructions: (please read before proceeding)

• The data you provide must be in comma-separated value (.CSV) format. You can produce files in this format using almost any spreadsheet program.
• Your import data must conform to the specifications listed below. If any field in a record does not conform, that record will not be imported.
• Do not leave any empty rows in your spreadsheet or .CSV file. Doing so will lead to a post-import error message indicating that there was a problem importing a record.
• The Donation Name field is required. If the information you provide in this field exceeds its maximum length, the system will truncate the information and append an ellipses (…).
• Fields marked “Optional” may be left blank.
• The Inventory Tag field is for your internal tracking purposes only. It will not appear to bidders.

Fields

1. Inventory Tag: (optional, must be unique to each donation, printable characters, max length = 16)
2. Donation Name: (required, must be unique to each donation, printable characters, max length = 60)
3. Donation Kind: (required, single digit based on key below)
   • 3: In-Kind Gift
   • 4: Auction Item/Service (default)
4. Quantity: (optional, digits only, maximum value 9999)
5. Value: (required, digits only, must be greater than 0, maximum value 99999.99)
6. Consignment Item: (optional, single digit based on key below)
   • 0: No (default)
   • 1: Yes
7. Consignment Cost: (required if Consignment Item = 1, digits only, must be greater than 0, maximum value 99999.99)
8. Delivery Status: (optional, single digit based on key below)
   • 0: n/a (default)
   • 1: Donor will deliver
   • 2: Arrange for pickup
   • 3: Received
9. Date Received: (YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYYY, required if Delivery Status = 3 [Received])
10. Comments: (printable characters, max length = 1024)
11. Gift Certificate Kind: (optional, single digit based on key below, only applies to Auction Item/Service Donation Kind)
    • 0: n/a
    • 1: Donor will provide
    • 2: System generated
12. Gift Certificate Expiration Date: (YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYYY, required if Gift Certificate Kind = 2 [System generated])
13. Gift Certificate Title: (required if Gift Certificate Kind = 2 [System generated], must be unique to each donation, printable characters, max length = 100)
14. Gift Certificate Description: (required if Gift Certificate Kind = 2 [System generated], printable characters, max length = 1024)
