Event Policies - Payments, Refunds, and Shipping
Make sure your guests understand exactly what your payment, refund and shipping policies are BEFORE your event. This eliminates any misunderstandings on or after event night so you don't get stuck with forgotten auction items and no payment to show for them.
The best way to do this is through the Policies section of your event website. Since your event website is where your patrons, guests and bidders will go to purchase tickets, make donations, view your event details and browse your auction catalog, it is the perfect place to display these rules.
Setting up your policies in ReadySetAuction is easy. Take a look:
- In the Setup tab, select Policies from the menu on the right side.
- Your Event Policies screen allows you to enter information in three areas:
- Payment Policy
- Refund Policy
- Shipping Policy
- Using the WYSIWYG editor, you can include images, bold, underlined, or italicized text, bullets and numbering, and links.
- When you have finished entering all your Event Policy information, click the green Update Instructions & Policies button to save it.
