  1. Winner Notification Cards

    The old system created Winner Notification Cards - I had to manually create them this year. After the silent auction, we deliver the winner this piece of paper so they know they won and can pick up their item in the Redemption Area.

  2. Allow site to go directly to eCatalog

    We want to eliminate barriers to bidding. If there was an option under Admin > Event Settings to have the event website link take bidders directly into the eCatalog instead of the menu on the landing page, this would help bidders access auction items more easily.

  3. Merge Duplicate Patron Accounts

    Now that patron email address is optional (see: http://helpdesk.readysetauction.com/forums/257310-general-feedback/suggestions/6222015-make-contact-s-email-address-optional), it is possible to more easily create duplicate patron accounts. When this happens, it would be nice to have an easy method to merge the duplicates together into a single patron record.

  4. Leaderboard

    A live auto-updating leaderboard would enhance the live auction experience for bidders. The leaderboard could be projected onto a large screen and used to highlight special auction packages, acknowledge donors, congratulate winners, and announce upcoming items.

  5. Additional Output Formats

    Printed materials are currently provided in HTML "ready-to-print" format, as well as CSV format for creation of customized materials via mail-merge. The HTML format is not modifiable by the user. And while the CSV format allows for full customization of the printed materials, it requires more expertise from the user (i.e. performing mail merge using Excel and Word).

    This feature would add one or more additional output formats that would sit somewhere between the simple but non-modifiable HTML format and the more complex-to-use CSV format.

  6. Hide Won Packages

    As packages are won, removing them from the eCatalog would make it easier for bidders to focus their attention on the packages that are still available for bidding.

  7. Outbid Notifications via Text Message

    Text messages can be more immediate and noticeable than emails, and they can be received by virtually all phones. Allow guests the option to receive outbid alerts via text message instead of (or in addition to) email alerts.

    The button to create a hyperlink in the package details editor is not clear. Also, when the applied link is selected it will navigate you away from RSA and does not open in a new window.

  9. add SSL security to all areas of the RSA site, not just areas where payment information is entered/stored.

    SSL security should be applied to the ReadySetAuction event staff website and Event Website as a whole - not just in areas where credit card/merchant information is entered/stored.

  11. Bulk Action to Assign Catalog Numbers

    Currently, catalog numbers are assigned to packages on an individual basis. It would be very helpful and a huge time saver if users could batch update all catalog numbers at once.

  12. Text the Link to Bidder Registration

    Provide the option to text the bidding link to their cell phone instead of emailing it. Some people did not receive the emails quickly and we lost bidding time. Others had registered with an email address they could not access on their phones. This would solve both problems.

  13. Allow more than 25 categories

    25 categories isn't enough to be able to effectively categorize all of our items. It would be nice to have at least 30.

    Thank you for your feedback! Complete plan event staff administrators can now enable outbid notifications via text message at their convenience under Event Settings.

  15. Sort "All Invoices" by Bidder Number Instead of Table Number

    We love this program! The only suggestion is that near the end of the night, we need to batch-print all of the invoices, and then have them ready to hand out to the guests. When you select to print "all invoices", it organizes them by table number, and then we wind up having to re-sort by bidder number. This takes too long when we have 260 guests trying to check out at once, and it is helpful for them to just have to say their bidder number to us (many of them don't remember their table number; in addition, everything…

  16. extend the 28-day post-event wrap-up if the 2-week eCatalog extension is purchased.

    If the two-week eCatalog extension is purchased, then the 28-day wrap-up period (prior to event lock) should be extended two weeks from the event date as well.

    For Complete package users, we now offer a 45-day post-event eCatalog period and an additional four week wrap-up period after that.

  17. Group Packages into Sections for Printed Catalog

    It would be nice to be able to create groupings for packages that could then be used to organize the printed catalog. It would be super if the user could control the order these sections appear in the catalog as well.

  18. Solicitor Assignment

    This feature would allow a staff member to be assigned to a particular donor. A report showing donor-solicitor pairings would be helpful as well.

  20. Add a field for Sponsorship Attribution

    When donors purchase sponsorships on the website there should to be a field for Sponsorship Attribution. It's a huge amount of work to go back and ask sponsors individually whether they prefer to be anonymous, or it's attributed to a business name, or "The X Family."

    The event website donation page has a section for Donor Acknowledgement, which includes a field for name as it appears in Event Catalog and anonymous.
