Sort "All Invoices" by Bidder Number Instead of Table Number
We love this program! The only suggestion is that near the end of the night, we need to batch-print all of the invoices, and then have them ready to hand out to the guests. When you select to print "all invoices", it organizes them by table number, and then we wind up having to re-sort by bidder number. This takes too long when we have 260 guests trying to check out at once, and it is helpful for them to just have to say their bidder number to us (many of them don't remember their table number; in addition, everything…

Enter a tab on @ event for easy package sale price and winner lookup
There should be a tab on the right at @event where you can quickly look up a package #"s sale price and winner name. I know this function can be obtained in other places, but it is buried! We need quick answers at the auction event.

Search for Uncategorized Packages
In the manage packages screen we can search for packages in a certain category. It would be nice to be able to search for any packages that are not yet categorized.

Additional Showcase Options
When configuring the settings for the ShowCase, it would be nice to toggle on/off whether the Goal & Raised Amount is included in the slides. Additionally, it might be nice to have a blanket on/off toggle for the Packaged items and the Sponsors too. For example, you may only want Sponsors displayed at the beginning of the auction event, then later turn on the Auction Items.

Allow more than 25 categories
25 categories isn't enough to be able to effectively categorize all of our items. It would be nice to have at least 30.

Add a field for Sponsorship Attribution
When donors purchase sponsorships on the website there should to be a field for Sponsorship Attribution. It's a huge amount of work to go back and ask sponsors individually whether they prefer to be anonymous, or it's attributed to a business name, or "The X Family."
3 votesThe event website donation page has a section for Donor Acknowledgement, which includes a field for name as it appears in Event Catalog and anonymous.

Sort and Search by Location
Please add the ability to sort and search for patrons by zip code or city.
3 votesThe Donor Status report now breaks out the address into separate columns. This report may be downloaded into Excel, where it can be searched and sorted by any address field.

Delete Purchase Even if Payment Recorded
I inadvertently recorded one of our patrons as having paid for their tickets twice. In doing so, they appear to have purchased four tickets, only two of which have RSVP'd. There is no way to delete/correct this issue. I will have to hand-correct their invoice on the night of the auction, and my seat-count/ticket purchases will be inaccurate.

Business Names Only When Adding Donors
When adding patrons, it would be great if first and last names were not required for businesses. It should be optional, as I do not always have a personal contact at each business.

Allow Winning Bid Less Than Minimum Bid at Checkout
We ran into problems at checkout if the Winning Bid amount was lower than the "starting bid" shown on the bid sheet. It would have been less complicated if we could have overwritten the amount to speed up the checkout process. We had to go into Packages and change the amount before we could check some one out. It only happened on 2 or 3 package items. Luckily those bidders were patient for us to work through the added steps.

More Customizable Event Website
I understand that having limited options for web design might seem ideal to people that don't really care. However, to send donors to a site that looks primitive and not in-line with our organizations design standards is not ideal. There are so many ways to build modules or widgets that people could utilize and customize if they have the desire or ability within their org. For those that don't, then they could continue to use the basic layout.
77 votesThank you for this great idea! In a recent ReadySetAuction release a new and improved editor was added to make it easier to customize your event website. This new editor will make it easy for you to add and resize pictures and gifs or embed a video on your event website. Allow eCatalog view-only mode outside of bidding period
Currently the eCatalog is only active to my guests a week before the event. This is fine for bidding purposes, but what about publicity?
Why can't my guest view the eCatalog (without bidding) any time before the event? Seeing the eCatalog grow will:
- Generate buzz.
- Prevent my group from soliciting businesses who have already given.
- Encourage businesses to donate early (peer pressure).
The website and the information is already there. Why would it cost more just to display it the public (without having the bidding option)?
61 votesThank you for your feedback! We have expanded the duration of the eCatalog Access Period to 45 days before through 45 days after your event date. For Select plan users, this expands the amount of time during which visitors to your event website can view the eCatalog. For Complete plan users, this expands the amount of time during which visitors to your event website can view the eCatalog, place bids on packages that are open for bidding, and/or purchase fixed-price packages that are open for purchase.

Winner Notification Cards
The old system created Winner Notification Cards - I had to manually create them this year. After the silent auction, we deliver the winner this piece of paper so they know they won and can pick up their item in the Redemption Area.

Solicitor Assignment
This feature would allow a staff member to be assigned to a particular donor. A report showing donor-solicitor pairings would be helpful as well.

Make Contact's Email Address Optional
Currently, every contact in the system is required to have a unique email address. The email address is used to uniquely identify every individual contact record, and prevent duplicate contacts from being entered into the system. However, in many cases the organization does not know the email address of a contact that they wish to enter or import. This leads to messy work-arounds, such as creating fake email addresses for contacts. This feature would make the email address field optional for all patrons. In this case, the system would be unable to send email to any patron lacking an email…

Make Bidder # Optional / Share a Bidder #
Currently, every bidder must be assigned a bidder number because a bidder number is required in order to place a bid under certain circumstances (eg. at shared bidding stations). A popular guest scenario involves having a couple share a single bidder number so that they can bid together as a single unit. Although this is not possible for eBidding (every eBidder must use an individual eBidding account), for traditional paper auctions, it is reasonable to have couples bidding together as one.
The current solution is to have both members of a couple use one of their bidder numbers and simply…
